BOVA or as she is designated Best Old and Valliant Assistant, was created by the Inhuman Phaeder while he set up his base of operations in Wundagore Mountain. Phaeder created BOVA with the sole purpose of managing his equipment when he couldn't, or didn't have time to look at. When Herbert arrived at Wundagore, he was astonished at how advanced BOVA was who by that time was just called assistant by Phaeder. After spending some time with the assistant, Herbert called her BOVA because of her help always being swift and without question. After Herbert took control of the Wundagore Mountain facility, he made BOVA his prime assistant in terms of nursing infants, observing and feeding the Cross-Species experiments (She seemed to take a liking a pack of cows that the High Evolutionary experimented on), cataloging important information, as well as attending to the lab equipment.
For years to come, BOVA would assist the High Evolutionary with his plan by attending to the babes that he experimented on, two notable infants that BOVA cared for were Wanda and Pietro Maximoff.

- Hack Immunity: BOVA's entire system has been designed and augmented by the High Evolutionary so that BOVA could not be corrupted.
