Cheshire Cat

The Cheshire Cat is a criminal under the employ of several crime lords, one of which was Cornell Stokes. His past history unknown, many have suspected Cheshire of once being a beatnik from Harlem. His Gifted ability is to make himself turn invisible and intangible, complete with a specially-modified costume equipped with a light-sensitive cloaking device. He could also use his intangibility to teleport to locations he's already seen or been to. Cheshire is an avid fan of Lewis Carroll's literature works, which may explain his codename and penchant for leaving his wide, toothy grin and large spectacles for last when turning invisible.

He most recently came into conflict with Luke Cage when he tried to rob a van filled with antique computers and sell them to the highest bidder on orders from one of his bosses, Mariah Dillard.
