Lani Ubanu was on a voyage with her parents when she was 3, to the Arctic Circle. During their voyage they accidentally stumbled upon the Savage Land. Upon arrival raptor's began to attack the ship and kill the crew. Garokk arrived and stopped the raptor's before they could kill Lani. Garokk then took the girl and traveled to the High Evolutionary's Savage Land installation. Garokk then gave the baby to the High Evolutionary as a peace offering, to which he accepted.
Lani was then experimented on by the High Evolutionary to become an Artificial Inhuman. But like all other's before her, the procedure was a failure. This was around the time that Max Eisenhardt was being experimented on to determine how a older subject would respond to the procedure. After Lani's procedure Max offered to take her in and so she became his adoptive daughter.
In 2015, when the procedure was at last proven to be successful, Lani then was granted powers which allowed her to control male's with her voice. Seeing how this power was similar to that of the Asgardian Lorelei, she then gave herself that alias.
Powers and Abilities[]
Lorelei possesses hypnotic powers, able to mesmerize any or all males within hearing range of her voice. She can paralyze them by singing.
