The Squadron Supreme consisted of Hyperion, Power Princess, and Doctor Spectrum. Being partially responsible for the chaos enveloping their world, they chose to take control of the planet to solve its problems. As such, they took active responsibility for more than just fighting crime and supervillains and took on poverty and hunger, the environment, and public health. Most of the people were killed when the planet was destroyed in a civil war. The Squadron Supreme survived and through the power of the Reality Stone made their way to Earth-199999 where they then were tasked with ruling the Earth of that reality, with the short time assistance of their new member Blur.
They were later defeated and sent back to their own reality after a battle with the Avengers. But before they were sent back they were locked up until the portal to their universe could be opened. In that time AIM performed research into the Squad's powers, DNA, and various other attributes that they used to create the Squadron Sinister.
