Eddie Brock was a man whose life took these drastic changes, and overwhelmed by his shame and the knowledge of his impending death, he decided to consider suicide. Visiting Our Lady of Saints Church to beg forgiveness from God for this mortal sin, however he had no knowledge that Spider Man was planning to be rid of a alien parasite that latched onto him. As the symbiote separated from Spider-Man it made its way to brock on which it fed on him. The symbiote merged mentally and physically with Brock, whose bubbling hatred for Spider-Man was equaled by the symbiote's, and so they vowed revenge against him as the super villain Venom.

Origins of the Project[]
In recent decades several unique meteorites have landed on Earth, each of these meteorites carried with them traces of an unknown alien species with unusual characteristics. Many of these samples were collected by SHIELD, labeled 084s, and hidden away along with any evidence of alien contact. The samples were studied and some came to the conclusion that the alien biology might hold the key to develop a revolutionary means to heal humanity of all illness and eliminate all forms of disease. After the initial tests, subjects began to show promising signs of enhanced regeneration and increased physical attributes, but unfortunately all subjects eventually displayed extreme violent behavior and split personalities. Because of unfortunate events resulting from the tests, Project Symbiote was shut down and all samples of the alien biology were permanently locked away. Years later, after the fall of SHIELD, these 084 specimens were recovered by the United States military. Eventually, Oscorp Industries took possession of the samples, and after learning what could be achieved, Oscorp decided to reactivate Project Symbiote and accomplish the goal of creating a symbiotic biosuit which could encase and augment a human host body.
Oscorp and Brock Family[]
For years, Oscorp resumed work with Project Symbiote and made some initial advancements with successful bonding and improving upon the original project. However, to take the project to the next level, Oscorp Industries sought out one of the original scientists who worked on the first Project Symbiote, a skilled bioengineer who fought to keep the project alive, Edward Brock Sr. Brock believed that the project needed to be completed no matter the cost because the benefits outweigh the risk and the end justifies the means. Brock himself made attempts to continue the project even after it was shut down by SHIELD, and because of this, Brock’s reputation and career were buried by SHIELD. Unfortunately, Brock Sr. passed away years prior to Oscorp’s Project Symbiote, and so Oscorp searched for Edward Brock’s next of kin and his estranged son, Edward "Eddie" Brock Jr.
Venom Symbiote[]
Once Located Brock Jr was found living in San Francisco as a journalist and was suffering from terminal Cancer. They located him at a Cancer treatment center and Representatives from Oscorp west coast division ordered by Norman Osborn himself. to either convince or kidnap Eddie Brock however since he was destitute homeless it didn't take much to join them . Also His Journalist Career was going down hill due to Botching an Interview With Carlton Drake the life foundation CEO however at the same time. Osborn also pitied Brock so he had Drake Assassinated and Exposed Drake's corrupt business dealings with The Ten Rings and other affiliated groups. With the FBI and SFPD shutting down Life Foundation and Drake gone Oscorp started to do Human Trials on Eddie and it showed a true symbiotic bond and a very aggressive almost unhinged nature. Leading Brock to call himself Venom. and Thus The Lethal Protector was born

With Osborn controlling the symbiote and a number of Osborn's enemies disappearing. This obviously attracted the attention of the FBI and SFPD so with things getting to hot on the day of the police raid a corrupt informant leaked to Oscorp that they were coming so they managed to relocate to New York. Before leaving a thought had occurred to Venom why did he and Brock have to do Oscorp's bidding and why were they targeting innocent people when they could go after real criminals instead people like The Crime Master or Spiderman who's identity was ousted by the media circus for allegedly killing Mysterio the interdimensional hero who saved London From the Elemental threat. Also Osborn his former benefactor was becoming increasingly bloodthirsty so one night Venom decided to leave there partnership. Once this idea was established he successfully destroyed Oscorp's Symbiote Manufacturing laboratory and Robotics and Weapons Foundry. with that done the only thing left to do was expose Osborn's involvement in ordering his opponents murdered and experimenting on Innocent People with this Venom Fled into the New York City Area. With Brock Free of Oscorp and Cancer free he now was looking for employment in journalism. He found it at the daily bugle Spiderman's identity was also erased from public memory and A Recently alone Parker who had lost his Aunt May and Left his Friends after the Green Goblin from a different world had tragically killed Aunt May. With His Brock persona safe he started to protect the city ruthlessly and was so violent that he started to draw attention from various Underworld and Law Enforcement figures earning him the nickname the lethal protector. However with this came and unexpected price.

Powers and Abilities[]
Eddie Brock was the first individual to truly bond with the symbiote, seeing as Peter Parker did not allow it to complete the process, gaining many of the same powers Spider-Man possessed in conjunction with the symbiote's natural abilities.
- Black Symbiotic Costume: The alien costume, which had grafted itself to the nervous system of Eddie Brock, somehow absorbed the powers of Spider-Man during its brief symbiotic relationship with him. These powers had been transferred to Brock, so long as he wore the costume, and combined with Eddie's natural bulk made Venom physically stronger than Spider-Man. The symbiote also kept Brock's cancer in check until they separated. Ultimately the costume's influence hurt more than helped Brock's psyche, and when he finally realized this himself he decided to auction it. The symbiote grants Eddie the following powers:
- Superhuman Strength: Venoms Strength is unmatched he is seen throwing Multi Ton objects he strength is superior to even Spiderman as he is able to lift up to 4 tons with ease
- Superhuman Durability : Venom's Durability is far above that of an ordinary human even on par with that off the hulk as he has been able to take blows from the Juggernaut, Scorpion , Knull and various other Superpowered individuals
- Superhuman Stamina: Venom's stamina is superhuman as he has been able to keep up with Spiderman who has superhuman level Stamina and even faster heroes like Miles Morales and Ghost Spider
- Superhuman Speed, Agility, and Reflexes: He is a very fast Agile and has superhuman reflexes due to bond with Spiderman he posses all of his powers and attributes
- Accelerated Healing Factor: His healing factor is beyond Spiderman's and is probably one of the quickest healing heroes in the Universe
- Webbing Generation: He creates his own organic webbing and it is able to create weapons based on it
- Wall-Crawling; Due to absorbing Spiderman's power he can stick and scale walls easily And can even power jump
- Offspring Detection: He can detect symbiotes spawned from the original Venom Symbiote like Carnage, And Toxin
- Genetic Memory: He can access the klyntarian hive mind and in its own words as over 80 billion lightyears of hive knowledge across the multiverse
- ESP (Spider-Sense) : Due to absorbing Spiderman's power he has his spider sense and can sense danger in advance
- Immunity to Spider-Man's Spider Sense: He is invisible to Spiderman's Spider-Sense
- Constituent Matter Generation: He can create symbiotic matter
- Camouflage Capabilities: He can camouflage himself to make himself invisible similar to Miles Morales
- Stretching and deforming : He can stretch and deform his body sort of like clayface from batman and can condense his body down into one size.
- Venomous Fangs: His Fangs Secrete a Venomous neurotoxin that can easily kill a human or even superpowered individuals
- Sharp Claws : He has razor sharp claws that can cut through metal and Other materials easily
